Position Summary

As a Meat Department Lead you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will model expertise in meat and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets the members expectations.

What you'll do
  • Team Leadership
    : supervise the meat team, communicate department goals, execute programs, adhere to policies, and advocate for members, associates, and the company.
  • Meat Expertise
    : maintain in‑depth knowledge of floor and backroom operations, product updates, specifications; ensure quality, inventory, equipment, safety, sanitation and compliance standards; train the team on item specifications and approved equipment.
  • Technology & Analytics
    : leverage digital tools for sales planning, improve the shopping experience, and adopt new tools to support associate engagement.
  • Operational Excellence
    : drive business results, maintain a clean and safe work area, forecast and plan inventory, manage ordering and staffing, and ensure accurate audits and compliance.
  • Talent Development
    : identify training needs, develop skills, support career growth, and recruit talent internally and externally.
  • Compliance & Ethics
    : promote and enforce company policies, maintain integrity, and support the Open Door Policy for addressing ethical and compliance issues.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    : lead teams, share resources and information, align priorities, manage assignments, provide feedback, and adapt to change.
  • Diversity & Inclusion
    : embrace differences, foster belonging, build relationships, motivate, mentor, and recognize contributions.
  • Customer Service
    : put the customer first, deliver results, and make decisions based on reliable information.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a meat production department or supervising a team.
  • Legal working age 18 or older.
  • Will successfully complete all required training and assessments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience processing boneless and bone‑in products.
  • Serv Safe Food Services certification.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly wage range: $24.00 to $32.00. Additional premiums may apply.
