Are you a highly skilled and experienced Fire Project Manager ready to lead critical projects in commercial construction? Integrated Building Solutions ("IBS"), a nationally recognized specialized general contractor in electrical, fire, and safety, is seeking a dynamic leader to join our team in Minneapolis, MN.
ABOUT THIS ROLEAs an EOS “Traction” company (Right Person/Right Seat) the successful candidate is a fully competent fire project manager with functional knowledge and in‑depth experience in commercial construction, including fire alarms and/or suppression.
- Determine resources (labor, equipment, and materials) from project start to finish
- Plan to ensure deadlines are met and costs remain within budget
- Oversee/manage field personnel and subcontractors daily
- Ensure accuracy and consistency; maintain, meet, or exceed construction standards and codes
- Develop and maintain customer relationships to secure future work
- Continuously seek new opportunities
This role will be accountable for quarterly and annual goals which can pay significant incentive pay, including:
- Recognized Gross Profit %
- In‑person customer interactions
- Minimum of three (3) years experience with a fire prevention design‑build contractor
- Thorough knowledge of NFPA standards and proven ability to produce on‑time, profitable projects
- Creativity and strong problem‑solving skills
- High‑level project management influence over direct reports and clients
- Sense of humor that fits a relaxed yet professional office culture
- Approx. 20% overnight travel (10 weeks/yr) or as required
- Financial literacy and understanding of key financial concepts
- Group presentation skills – deliver training to prospects and clients
- Account management – forward‑facing client role ensuring client delight
- Seeking temporary employment

- Driving record with more than a few minor blemishes
- Education: High School diploma with trade and/or college project management schooling or related field
- Experience: Minimum three (3) years working for a fire prevention design‑build contractor
- Certifications: NICET certified preferred
