Overview
JOB PURPOSE or
JOB SUMMARY:
Following the shop supervisor's direction, complete work orders in a timely and accurate manner. The Assembly Technician will be responsible for the assembly of all Certified Power Products. The main emphasis for this position is assembly and test of hydraulic systems; other duties may include welding, painting, general repair, and cleanliness of the assigned work area. Contributes to a positive working culture, builds strong relationships, and lives out the values of integrity, collaboration, and accountability.
duties and responsibilities
- Ability to read and interpret work orders to accurately complete the requirements — assembly of hydraulics systems.
- Ability to read, interpret and work from engineering drawings and schematics to the accurate completion of customer requirements.
- Ability to assemble all Certified Power products.
- Ability to set up and operate hydraulic test stands (valves) and hydraulic test stands (pump motors).
- Repair and maintain shop equipment.
- Produce high quality parts and assemblies with a low reject rate.
- Show mutual respect for coworkers.
- Complete other duties as outlined by ISO work instruction.
- Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications- Minimum High School Education; preferred associate degree in hydraulic technician. In lieu of hydraulic experience, Certified Power Solutions is willing to reimburse tuition for an accredited Fluid Power/Motion Control program at a local Technical College.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- 2-3 years shop experience
- General knowledge of fluid power systems (hydraulic) and mechanical systems
- Valid Driver’s License
