Your OpportunityWe are seeking a Folder Equipment Operator for our Fridley, MN facility. The candidate will set up, operate, and maintain folding machinery, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety standards, while contributing to production goals.

Your Responsibilities- Set up, operate, and monitor complex folding machinery, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to production schedules.
- Conduct thorough inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to identify potential issues before they impact production.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
- Train and mentor new and existing employees on machinery operation, safety protocols, best practices, and quality expectations.
- Delegate tasks effectively to enhance team productivity and maintain a smooth workflow.
- Serve as a positive role model, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Provide regular updates to the Production Supervisor on equipment status, production metrics, and any issues encountered.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records related to equipment performance, production output, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) consistently and correctly.
- Enter accurate data for time‑keeping, job costing, and MRP job tracking.
- Setup equipment for new products and complex projects as required.
- Manage materials requests to maintain productivity.
3rd Shift;
Sunday – Thursday, 10:00pm – 6:00am.
- Experience operating machines, preferably folding equipment.
- Ability to comprehend number sequencing and recognize errors.
- Proficiency with numbers.
- Pattern of regular and predictable attendance.
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Availability to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to adapt to continually changing priorities and coordinate multiple projects.
- Perform a variety of tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Interact constructively with all plant employees.
- Work collaboratively toward team goals.
- Respond constructively to change and handle additional tasks.
- Service‑oriented with high energy, positivity, and friendly demeanor.
- Stand for prolonged periods.
- Communicate clearly and exchange accurate information.
- Regularly remain in a stationary position.
- Operate machinery and handle products, including print materials.
- Move within the facility as needed.
- Lift, push, pull or carry up to 25+pounds.
The anticipated hourly range is $20.00 – $25.00. The actual pay depends on qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
