Quality Engineering
The Quality Manager leads quality systems and laboratory operations at H.B. Fuller’s Fridley site, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality policies.
Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 4 laboratory employees to meet performance and quality goals.
- Oversee laboratory operations, including testing methods, equipment maintenance, and calibration.
- Manage plant quality systems and ensure compliance with ISO and audit requirements.
- Conduct root cause investigations using tools such as 8D, SPC, and Pareto analysis.
- Oversee incoming raw material verification and finished product quality control.
- Maintain and improve Bills of Materials (BOMs) within ERP systems.
- Partner with Operations to implement Lean and Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage rework processes and drive measurable reductions in quality‑related waste.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, chemical, or quality‑focused roles.
- Demonstrated experience supervising employees and managing performance outcomes.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and data analysis tools.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, chemical, or pharmaceutical environments.
- Experience managing customer and supplier quality relationships.
- Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Certification or applied experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or structured problem‑solving methodologies.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. The salary for this role is $90,000‑$110,000. In addition to your salary, H.B.
