Position Summary
Position Summary:
Drives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signage, inventory levels, budgeting and forecasting, and assessing economic trends and community needs.
- Drive sales in the Vision Center through effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, and inventory management.
- Model and enforce customer service approaches, resolving complaints within company guidelines.
- Oversee community outreach programs and encourage Associates to support the community.
- Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, regulating safety controls and operational reviews.
- Provide supervision, hire, train, mentor, assign duties, recognize, and promote a belonging mindset.
- Consult with Members, select eyewear products, obtain measurements, verify prescriptions, maintain confidentiality, and perform minor frame repair.
- Implement action plans to improve performance, provide direction on company programs and strategic initiatives.
- Uphold the Open Door Policy by meeting with Associates, researching issues, and suggesting resolutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to meet customer and business needs.
- Create accountability for progress, identify improvement opportunities, and promote continuous learning.
- Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and rules.
- Experience supervising Associates.

The hourly wage range for this position is $27.00 - $37.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may be paid in premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
