Position Summary
Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting the company's products and services. Maintains merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays; removes damaged goods, signs and prices merchandise appropriately; secures fragile and high‑shrink merchandise; maintains the sales floor in the optical area; handles claims and returns;
zones the area; arranges and organizes merchandise; identifies shrink and damages; receives and stocks merchandise; operates hardware such as cash registers; processes member purchases, returns, refunds and exchanges; assists members with optical product purchases including measurement, adjustment, repair, lens orders; verifies prescription information; collects payments for doctor services and performs optometric pretests.
- Provide member service and product promotion.
- Maintain merchandise presentation and sales floor in optical area.
- Handle claims, returns, and shrink.
