Position Summary

We are seeking a Vision Center Manager to drive sales, manage merchandise presentation, pricing, inventory, community outreach, compliance, team development, and customer service.

Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, in‑stock and inventory levels, budgeting, forecasting, and by assessing economic trends and community needs.

Model, enforce, and provide direction and guidance to Associates on proper Customer Member service approaches and techniques to resolve complaints and issues within company guidelines and standards.

Oversee implementation and participation in community outreach programs and encourage Associates to serve as good members of the community.

Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing reports, implementing and monitoring asset protection and safety controls, overseeing safety, operational and quality assurance reviews, and developing action plans to improve performance.

Provide supervision and development opportunities for Associates: hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognition, and fostering a belonging mindset.

Ensure provision of quality eyewear by consulting with and educating members and customers: selecting products, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, maintaining confidential information, performing minor frame repair, and maintaining optical equipment.

Uphold the Open Door Policy by meeting with Associates, addressing concerns, researching issues, reviewing policies, and suggesting resolutions.

Coordinate, complete and oversee job‑related activities and assignments by developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans, setting goals, measuring progress, and promoting continuous learning, adaptability, and integrity.

• Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws.

• Experience supervising Associates.

Hourly wage range: $27.00 – $37.00. Additional premiums may apply based on schedule, facilities, season, or specific work performed.
