Sales Representative – Fridley, Minnesota
Intertek is searching for a Sales Representative to join our Electrical team in Fridley, Minnesota. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in facilitating international trade and regulatory product testing.
Our Electrical business line applies more than 100 years of product testing expertise to quickly and efficiently help clients meet safety, performance, environmental and quality requirements for every market.
We are looking for a Sales Representative responsible for direct sales activity within an assigned territory, identifying and developing new accounts leveraging Intertek's Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification (ATIC) solutions.

What you’ll do- Sell Intertek’s services within assigned verticals, accounts and territory through effective client research, prospecting and networking.
- Meet with current and prospective customers via client presentations and participation at trade shows.
- Meet order and revenue quotas on a monthly basis.
- Write and follow up on proposals, specify appropriate standards and pricing; follow through on sales transactions to ensure a superior customer experience for every project.
- Provide outstanding customer service.
- Meet all activity targets and log activity in iConnect (CRM) as required.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts as required.
- Perform other duties as required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1 year successful B2B sales experience.
- Superior interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Exceptional ability to communicate and interact effectively in written, verbal, and presentation formats.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization and time‑management skills.
- Must be energized, self‑motivated and able to work independently in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment with shifting priorities.
- Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel at least 50% of the time, both day trips and overnight travel.
- Valid unrestricted driver’s license and reliable driving record.
- Physical dexterity and mobility to travel via car, airplane and perform all clerical functions inherent to the position.
- Outside sales experience.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., MS Dynamics, Salesforce, or other).
