Salary/Wage Range or Industry Benchmark: 30 - 40 USD Hourly USD 30.00 40.00 HOUR

Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.

Perform preventive maintenance tasks on a variety of equipment, ensuring they are always in optimal working condition.

Respond to emergency breakdowns and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.

Collaborate with the engineering team to understand machinery operation and maintenance requirements.

Document all maintenance work for record‑keeping and future reference.

Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are adhered to during maintenance work.

Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.

Keep up‑to‑date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and maintenance techniques.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years experience as a Maintenance Technician in the Engineering industry or similar role.

Strong understanding of preventive maintenance techniques and practices.

Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.

Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Excellent problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Degree or diploma in a relevant field preferred.

Certifications in relevant areas an added advantage.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if required.
