Responsibilities:

• 1. Conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
• 2. Performing preventive maintenance tasks on a variety of equipment, ensuring they are always in optimal working condition.
• 3. Responding to emergency breakdowns and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.
• 4. Collaborating with the engineering team to understand machinery operation and maintenance requirements.
• 5. Documenting all maintenance work for record-keeping and future reference.
• 6. Ensuring all safety protocols and procedures are adhered to during maintenance work.
• 7. Assisting in the installation of new equipment and machinery.
• 8. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.
• 9. Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and maintenance techniques.

Qualifications:

• 1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the Engineering industry or a similar role.
• 2. A strong understanding of preventive maintenance techniques and practices.
• 3. Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.
• 4. Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• 5. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• 6. Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
• 7. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• 8. A degree or diploma in a relevant field is preferred.
• 9. Certifications in relevant areas would be an added advantage.
• 10. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if required.
