Compensation & Incentives

Pay: $27-$30 per hour

  • Hourly incentive pay of $1, paid out quarterly: 50 cents for attendance, 50 cents for safety score
  • Paid CDL B training with endorsements:
    Air brakes, Passenger, School Bus
  • Paid PTO

Typical Hours
  • 2–2.5 hours per route (4–5 hours per day) with times varying 6–9 am or 1:30–5 pm
  • 2‑hour minimum pay
  • Average 30 hours per week

Disqualifying Factors
  • State of Minnesota disqualifications: DWI/DUI within past 5 years, 4+ moving violations within past 5 years, positive drug test, under 18 years old

Responsibilities
  • Drive AM and/or PM school bus routes for selected districts
  • Transport students to and from school, and to student activities
  • Perform vehicle and safety checks before each route
  • Follow district, state, and federal safety regulations
  • Attend required training sessions and maintain endorsements
  • Participate in school events and special outings as scheduled
Qualifications
  • Valid CDL Class B with Passenger and School Bus endorsements, no Air Brake restrictions
  • Ability to pass pre‑employment and random drug tests
  • Pass pre‑employment physical assessment and DOT medical examination
  • Strong customer‑service skills and ability to work with students
  • Consistent adherence to schedule and procedures
Safety Commitment

Zero tolerance for substance abuse. All positions require pre‑employment drug testing and random testing throughout employment.
