School Support Paraprofessional

2.5 hrs./day

181 days plus contracted holidays

Base pay rate: $ 15.79

Position Title:

Lunch Monitor

Organizational:

Reports to:

Building Principal and/or designee

Qualifications:
  • 1. Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
  • 2. Prior experience working with children preferred.
  • 3. Ability to do basic monetary mathematical calculations.
  • 4. Such additional qualifications as the Board may deem appropriate and necessary under law. Such additional qualifications shall not be arbitrary or capricious.
Job Goal:

Supervise and provide for the needs of students.

Specific Responsibilities:
  • 1. Ability to use school software and technology to process and account for a food sale.
  • 2. Ability to adhere to guidelines of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP)
  • 3. Maintain student conduct, building policies, and procedures as outlined in the student handbook.
  • 4. Maintain cleanliness of supervised areas.
  • 5. Perform clerical duties as assigned.
  • 6. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Building Principal and/or designee.
