Maintenance Custodian Associate

Position Summary

As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well‑kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go, and maintaining a positive attitude will ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish.

• Ensuring a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance as necessary

• Maintain the safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, using proper forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials safely, following steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
• Clean all areas of the facility—including floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles—using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Respond to spills, operate floor scrubbers, and dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with the Company Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintain appropriate levels of approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store them properly, and place orders when supplies are low.

Hourly wage range: $16.00 to $24.00* (actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage for the job location). Additional compensation may include premiums up to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
