Role Description The Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, TX, responsible for leading all aspects of store operations and team performance. This role oversees daily store activities, including staffing, scheduling, visual merchandising, inventory management, and adherence to company policies and procedures. The Store Manager coaches and motivates the team to deliver an engaging customer experience, drive sales, and achieve store performance targets.
They monitor key metrics, implement initiatives to improve results, and ensure loss prevention and safety standards are consistently met. The role also involves recruiting, training, and developing team members, fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment aligned with Garage Clothing’s brand values.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a commitment to delivering an engaging in-store experience.
- Effective Communication abilities for interacting with customers, coaching team members, and collaborating with leadership.
- Proficiency in Store Management, including staff supervision, scheduling, merchandising, and daily operational oversight.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to safeguard assets, minimize shrink, and uphold store safety standards.
- Previous experience in retail management or supervisory roles, preferably in fashion or apparel.
- Ability to analyze sales performance, interpret store metrics, and implement action plans to achieve targets.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.
