Role Description The Sales Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Friendswood, TX, responsible for driving store sales and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role involves leading by example on the sales floor, engaging customers, understanding their needs, and recommending products that align with ALDO’s brand and standards. The Sales Lead supports daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory handling, and maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing environment.
The position also assists in coaching and guiding team members, supporting training initiatives, and reinforcing company policies and procedures. Collaboration with store management to achieve sales targets and key performance metrics is a core part of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
- Proven Customer Service abilities focused on creating positive, inclusive, and personalized shopping experiences.
- Demonstrated Sales experience, including meeting targets and using selling techniques aligned with brand standards.
- Experience in Training or mentoring team members to support performance and development.
- Exposure to Sales Management activities such as supporting leadership with sales planning and execution.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in retail.
- Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and a collaborative mindset.
- Retail or fashion industry experience is an asset; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
