Position Overview:We are currently seeking enthusiastic and results-driven Sales People to join our sales team. The Sales Person will play a pivotal role in assisting customers with their vehicle purchases and ensuring that their needs and preferences are met with the utmost care and attention. The automotive salesperson will assist customers through their purchase decision and transaction, ensuring the customer feels heard and important through the entire process and ends up happy and satisfied with their decision and purchase experience.
The position is full-time and commission based.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in identifying their vehicle needs, preferences, and budget requirements.
- Provide detailed information about vehicle features, specifications, pricing, and financing options to customers, helping them make informed decisions.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and vehicle walkarounds to match customers with the right vehicle that meets their requirements.
- Coordinate test drives for customers and accompany them on test drives, providing guidance and information about vehicle performance and handling.
- Assist customers with the vehicle purchasing process, including negotiating pricing, completing paperwork, and arranging financing and insurance as needed.
- Follow up with customers after their visit to the dealership to address any additional questions or concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Utilize the CRM for customer mining to make phone calls and contacts daily to help drive business.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular communication and exceptional service, striving to exceed their expectations.
- Stay informed about new vehicle models, features, and technologies, and participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
- Collaborate with other dealership departments, including finance, service, and parts, to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer experiences.
- Understands automobiles by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features; comparing and contrasting competitive models; inspecting automobiles.
- Develops buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers in CRM; suggesting trade-ins; meeting prospects at community activities; greeting drop-ins; responding to inquiries; recommending sales campaigns and promotions.
- Closes sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating price; completing sales or purchase contracts; explaining provisions; explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing; collects payment; delivers automobile.
- Enhances dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Reminds customers to take the manufacturer provided CSI survey after a transaction has been completed.
- Asks for online reviews through our many online review sites.

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in sales or customer service preferred.
- Previous experience in automotive sales or retail sales preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets and objectives.
- Professional demeanor and appearance, with a friendly and approachable personality.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in using computerized systems and software, including CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
