Title: Fire Inspector
Job Type: As-Needed / Part-Time
We are currently seeking a qualified Fire Inspector to perform inspections for commercial, residential, and public facilities to ensure compliance with fire codes and safety regulations.
- Schedule and conduct on-site inspections for new construction, renovations, and existing buildings to ensure compliance with local, state, and national fire codes.
- Evaluate fire protection systems, alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, and means of egress.
- Identify potential fire hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Complete inspection reports and required documentation in accordance with NFPA, local codes, and company guidelines.
- Collaborate with property owners, contractors, and municipal authorities to resolve fire code violations.
- Willingness to travel for inspections.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- ICC Fire Inspector Certification or equivalent fire safety credentials required
- $35 - $50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Both full-time and part-time employees are eligible for Aoka's401(k) plan with a 5% company match after 90 days of employment
