The (USA) Developmental Technician, Facility Services General Maintenance, supports facility operations by performing routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs under supervision. This role involves inspecting, cleaning, and servicing equipment and fixtures to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with regulations. The technician utilizes multiple craft skills, operates heavy machinery, and documents maintenance activities accurately. Responsibilities include responding to emergency calls, coordinating vehicle maintenance, and adhering to company policies and safety standards.

This position contributes to maintaining efficient, safe, and well-functioning facilities through diligent execution of assigned tasks and collaboration with team members. About the team:
The Facilities team ensures safe, reliable, and fully operational environments across multiple locations. Technicians manage electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building systems, promptly addressing issues to support daily operations. This role emphasizes safety, accountability, and effective communication while fostering professional growth through collaboration and continuous learning in general maintenance. The team upholds high ethical standards and quality workmanship to maintain facility excellence, ensuring a well-maintained and efficient workplace.

Members take ownership of their work, contributing to a supportive environment focused on operational success and ongoing development in various technical trades.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities, equipment, and fixtures.
• Inspect, clean, and repair facilities and equipment, documenting signs of wear and maintenance activities.
• Utilize multiple craft skills including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry to complete minor repairs under supervision.
• Operate and inspect heavy machinery and powered equipment following safety procedures and certification requirements.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls and diagnose issues using blueprints and repair manuals.
• Maintain accurate records of parts usage, work orders, and maintenance logs.
• Comply with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

• Experience performing routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs across multiple crafts including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Ability to inspect, diagnose, and document facility and equipment conditions using blueprints, manuals, and repair catalogs.
• Proficiency in operating hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery, and material handling equipment safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards, ensuring compliance and quality work.
• Strong organizational skills to complete maintenance documentation, manage parts requests, and submit warranty claims accurately.
