Accounting Manager - Frisco - On-Site

LHH is seeking an Accounting Manager on behalf of a growing, private equity-backed infrastructure organization. This hands-on leadership role reports to senior accounting leadership and will serve as a key partner in managing technical accounting matters, overseeing the month-end close, and developing a high-performing team. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical accounting foundation, experience operating in a dynamic, high-volume environment, and the ability to create structure amid growth and change.

Industry experience in construction, telecom, or infrastructure is highly preferred.

• Lead and manage the monthly close process, including review of journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
• Oversee accounting for leases (ASC 842), revenue recognition (ASC 606), fixed assets, and construction-in-progress
• Assist with preparation of technical accounting memos and implementation of new accounting standards
• Support internal reporting, variance analysis, and ad hoc financial requests
• Oversee general ledger activities, AP, AR, billing, payroll, and project cost accounting
• Partner cross-functionally with operations and project teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and financial data
• Review coding, reconciliations, and accounting workflows to ensure accuracy and consistency

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA strongly preferred
• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting and/or industry)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial statements, and month-end close processes
• Revenue recognition and percentage-of-completion accounting experience preferred
• Construction, telecom, or infrastructure industry experience preferred
