Senior Tax Associate

Job Role s And Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual, partnership, corporate, and trust tax returns
• Manage tax engagements from planning through completion
• Review returns prepared by staff and identify tax savings opportunities
• Supervise, mentor, and train junior staff and interns
• Manage engagement budgets and project timelines
• Interact directly with clients to gather information and resolve tax related issues
• Support business development activities and proposal preparation
• Research federal, state, and foreign tax matters
• Identify process improvements and provide client recommendations
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery during peak tax seasons

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field
• Eligible to sit for CPA exam
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of public accounting tax experience required
• At least one busy season experience as a Senior required
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, federal, and state tax compliance
• Experience preparing complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and client communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines during busy season
