CAS Payroll Manager
A growing advisory and outsourced accounting firm is seeking a polished Payroll Manager to support a portfolio of entrepreneurial and middle-market clients across various industries. This position offers a blend of payroll operations, client advisory support, and operational accounting exposure within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll processing across multiple client accounts with varying payroll schedules and employee structures
- Review payroll data for accuracy including compensation changes, bonuses, deductions, and adjustments
- Support recurring accounting projects including reconciliations, reporting, and operational accounting activities
- Assist with AP-related functions and ensure accurate recording of payroll and vendor-related transactions
- Lead client meetings and maintain strong ongoing relationships with business owners and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, internal controls, and reporting requirements
- Partner with accounting and advisory teams to support client deliverables and deadlines
- Identify process improvements and support operational efficiencies across payroll and accounting workflows
- Utilize multiple payroll and accounting systems in a multi-client environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of payroll processing and/or client accounting experience
- Experience supporting multiple entities or multiple clients preferred
- Exposure to AP, operational accounting, or outsourced accounting services preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and client service skills
- Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously
- Professional, polished, and solutions-oriented mindset
- Strong Excel and systems proficiency preferred
Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
