Addison Group is working with a large manufacturer located about 30 minutes north of Downtown Dallas. This company is looking for an Accounting Supervisor who has shown career progression and is looking to be a high-level leader within the organization in the near future.
This role is ideal for a Senior Accountant who has experience managing, reviewing, supervising, or mentoring and is looking for the next step in their career.
Responsibilities- Responsible for managing in month-end close processes
- Oversee and assist in financial reporting
- Review and analyze general ledger account reconciliations
- Generate monthly financial and performance reporting for further analysis
- Produce supporting documentation for audits
- Documentation of current business processes, procedures and internal controls
- Monitoring important business metrics, and identifying action steps to improve such metrics
- Utilizing technology to continuously learn, innovate and share knowledge with team members
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- 5+ years of Accounting experience required
- Management experience is preferred
- CPA, or CPA Candidate is a plus
