Senior Accountant

Description

Key Responsibilities

+ Prepare and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.

+ Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.

+ Analyze financial statements and investigate variances.

+ Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records.

+ Prepare internal financial reports and support management reporting needs.

+ Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.

+ Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.

+ Support internal and external audit requests.

+ Review fixed assets, prepaid expenses, accruals, and other balance sheet accounts.

+ Identify process improvement opportunities and assist with implementing efficiencies.

+ Collaborate with departments across the organization to resolve accounting-related issues.

+ Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as needed.

Requirements

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

+ 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.

+ Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.

+

Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations.

+ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.

+ Experience working with ERP systems such as Net Suite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.

+ Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
