This role ensures accurate preparation and maintenance of income tax records, returns, and reports to support compliance and financial integrity. It manages the preparation and review of income tax returns, payments, and provisions under various accounting standards including US GAAP and IFRS. The role involves analyzing complex income tax issues, conducting research, and supporting audits and legislative initiatives to inform tax strategies.
Success is measured by the accuracy of tax filings, effectiveness of tax planning, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The work impacts organizational financial reporting and tax compliance, contributing to informed decision-making and risk management. This role will primarily focus on US Federal income tax issues, but responsibilities may include tasks related to State income tax, International income tax, and ASC 740 financial reporting issues.
- Manage preparation and review of income tax returns and related payments to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Analyze complex tax issues and conduct research to support tax strategy development and implementation
- Assist in preparation and review of quarterly tax provisions under US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
- Support audits, appeals, and legislative initiatives by preparing documentation and analysis
- Prepare management reports on tax matters and review tax accruals and reconciliations for accuracy
- Review and analyze transactions for tax implications and participate in strategic tax planning initiatives
- Bachelor's degree - plus 3 years of related work experience OR advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
- 4-7 years experience of progressively responsible tax experience in a US Federal and multi-state environment with emphasis on income tax compliance, research and planning.

- Prior experience at a Big 4 firm (i.e., KPMG, Deloitte, PwC or EY).
- Acceptable areas of study include Accounting or related field
- Experience in tax compliance software
- Experience with Sharepoint, Alteryx and other data management systems
- SAP or Oracle
- AI Tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)
- Telecommunications Industry Experience
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Base Pay Range: $88,800 - $160,200. Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
