About the RoleAs a Senior Associate, you will support client onboarding and accounting system implementations, combining accounting knowledge, project support, and technology to modernize financial operations.
What You’ll Do- Implement and optimize cloud accounting solutions and perform accounting readiness services.
- Provide accounting guidance and answer software-related questions, escalating when appropriate.
- Design and optimize accounting processes.
- Prepare documentation to ensure smooth transition to recurring service teams.
- Communicate progress, flag risks, and seek clarification to maintain project momentum.
- Deliver high-quality work on time while meeting client expectations and project budgets.
- Build strong client relationships and collaborate across internal teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
- Continue developing accounting and technology expertise through learning, certifications, and knowledge sharing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (preferred); equivalent experience considered.
- 1+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience (professional services experience is a plus).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies, processes, and best practices.
- Experience with cloud accounting platforms such as Quick Books Online, Sage Intacct, Net Suite, , or Ramp (a plus).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Pay range: $71,000 to $100,390, based on skills, experience, and location. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package for eligible employees.
