About the Value Acceleration Office (VAO):
We help clients stabilize financial operations, implement cloud accounting systems, and design scalable processes. We focus on project‑based work that sets clients up for long‑term success before transition to recurring service teams.
We’re seeking a tech‑savvy Senior Associate to support client onboarding and accounting system implementations. The role combines accounting knowledge, project support, and technology to help clients modernize their operations and ensure a smooth transition to ongoing support.

What You’ll Do- Implement and optimize cloud accounting solutions and perform accounting readiness services
- Support client deliverables by providing accounting guidance and answering software‑related questions, escalating when appropriate
- Design and optimize accounting processes
- Prepare documentation to ensure a smooth transition to recurring service teams
- Communicate progress, flag risks and roadblocks early, and seek clarification to maintain project momentum
- Deliver high‑quality work on time while meeting client expectations and project budgets
- Build strong relationships with clients and collaborate effectively across internal teams
- Follow established processes while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and client outcomes
- Continue developing accounting and technology expertise through ongoing learning, certifications, and knowledge sharing
- Contribute to a collaborative, supportive team culture that values professional growth and work‑life balance
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- 3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience required; professional services experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Commitment to delivering accurate, high‑quality work in a deadline‑driven environment
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies, processes, and best practices
- Familiarity with project management practices preferred
- Experience with cloud accounting platforms such as Quick Books Online, Sage Intacct, Net Suite, , or Ramp required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
The pay rate range for this position is $79,000 to $132,710. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees.
