The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a leading private oil and gas operator in Frisco, Texas, to hire an experienced Office Manager to serve as the operational and financial backbone of a collaborative office.
In this role, you'll take ownership of daily office operations, manage multiple priorities, and help keep the business running efficiently.
As the company expands with multiple wells under development, you'll play a key role in managing increasing invoice volume and administrative demands while ensuring accurate, organized, and efficient operations.
Schedule & Environment:
Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 8:00AM – 5:00PM | Fully On-Site
Key Responsibilities
- Process high-volume vendor invoices, ensuring timely approval, coding, and entry into Sage
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
- Coordinate with the company's external accounting firm by providing documentation for lease operating statements, revenue distributions, and joint interest billing
- Support the Comptroller and incoming CFO with financial reporting, reconciliations, and lending documentation
- Oversee daily office operations, including vendor management, supplies, correspondence, filing, and general administration
- Serve as the primary in-office contact for a field-based workforce, providing day-to-day administrative support
- Identify process improvements, streamline workflows, and proactively resolve operational challenges
- Bookkeeping or accounting background with several years of hands-on experience
- Oil and gas industry experience with knowledge of lease operating statements, revenue distributions, joint interest billing, and vendor invoicing in an operator environment
- Experience managing high-volume accounts payable with accuracy and efficiency
- Proven ability to independently manage office operations, including administrative and operational responsibilities
- Strong organizational, time management, and self-directed problem-solving skills
- Experience with Sage accounting software (training available for candidates with strong accounting experience)
- Previous experience supporting an active drilling program or a rapidly growing oil and gas operation
