OverviewLegal Zoom wants employees who are passionate about delivering world‑class experiences & products to our customers! As an Associate Vendor Manager at Legal Zoom, you will be responsible for supporting the relationship with our nationwide vendor network that supports Legal Zoom’s Registered Agent business. You will focus on supporting vendor agreements, driving accountability, and ensuring consistent communication and performance across our third‑party vendor‑managed sites.
YouWill
- Facilitate and coordinate communication between the Manager, Legal Zoom teams, and third‑party Platform operations vendors, ensuring all parties receive clear and timely information.
- Assist the Manager in monitoring vendor performance data against established SLAs and KPIs. Help track, document, and prepare reports on issue escalation and resolution status.
- Support the initiation, documentation, and maintenance of vendor agreements and onboarding processes. Assist in coordinating logistics for site transitions, including compiling necessary documentation for vendor selection and setup.
- Lead vendor and contract negotiations.
- Coordinate participation in cross‑functional meetings and strategic initiatives, including scheduling, preparing presentation materials, and documenting action items for the Vendor Manager.
- Assist in preparing and distributing new and existing training materials for vendors. Maintain and organize the knowledge base of relevant policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of vendor contacts, contracts, compliance documentation, and performance logs in the designated system.
- Help support the daily operations across all vendor‑managed sites by gathering data on potential bottlenecks and compiling vendor feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate the scheduling and logistics of virtual and in‑person check‑ins for the Manager, including preparing performance review materials and tracking follow‑up actions.
- Perform administrative and operational tasks as assigned to support the Manager and the overall success of Platform Operations.
- 2+ years of experience in vendor management, supply chain coordination, or operations, with a demonstrated track record of increasing responsibility.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven ability to manage external partners remotely and drive performance accountability.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on relationship‑building and clear documentation.
- Excellent problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and organizational skills; capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
- High attention to detail and strong process orientation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), and comfortable handling general contract documentation.
- Able to commute to the office on a daily basis.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time, with short notice.
