We have an open position with our growing dealership. Stonebriar Chevrolet is a top Dealer in this area and have great staff in place. We are looking for an organized, efficient, adaptable, Accounting Clerk with an eye for detail and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Overview Responsibilities
  • Processing aftermarket products:
    Handle and process aftermarket products
  • Cancellation processing:
    Process and post cancellations, including lienholder requests and customer requests
  • Refund checks:
    Prepare refund checks for cancellations to customers or lienholders
  • Record keeping:
    Maintain detailed records of all warranty claims and their outcomes for future reference
  • Reserve reconciliations:
    Monthly reconciliations of lienholder reserve statements
  • Aftermarket reconciliations:
    Monthly reconciliations of MPP product statements
  • Process the accounting of all vehicle purchases, as well as compile and submit warranty cancellations
  • Receives deals from the New and Pre-Owned Sales Departments
  • Verifies deal contents; prepares lender packages for submission, and issues payoff checks for trade-ins
  • Posts all sale transactions to accounting in the dealership's CDK DMS
  • Verifies accuracy of posting through reporting systems in place and a Finance & Insurance (F&I) log
  • Submit all warranty purchases
  • Maintains schedules
  • Verifies Finance and Insurance (F&I) data to documents
  • Assist with other functions in accounting as needed when asked by management
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Must be able to handle a large volume of deals

  • Adept typing, word-processing, and data entry skills
  • Clear handwriting

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Knowledge of basic office and administrative software such as MS Office, MS Excel
