Job Overview:
At T-Mobile, we’re transforming how Supply Chain connects innovation to customers — delivering on our Un-carrier promise through smarter, faster, and more sustainable operations. As a Sr. Sourcing Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how T-Mobile manages all elements of our supply chain, including forward and reverse logistics, 3PL/4PL partnerships, handset repair/refurbishment, transportation, and value-added services that keep millions of devices moving seamlessly across our network.
The Sr Sourcing Manager contributes focused expertise and drives a culture of spending discipline for strategic vendors/categories (highly critical to current and future business operations) via efficient, effective, and best-in-class strategic sourcing, contract management, negotiation, and supplier management practices. Serves as a central point of contact for strategic suppliers in the Network and Device Supply Chain procurement group. Interfaces with senior leadership both within T-Mobile and ves as a source of best practices to be implemented by more junior team members.
WhatYou Will Do
- Develop and execute category strategies across various supply chain categories such as logistics, repair/refurbishment, and value-added fulfillment to optimize cost, service, and resilience.
- Lead complex contract negotiations and supplier relationships that drive accountability and innovation.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing programs with strong governance, timelines, and performance metrics.
- Partner with senior leaders across Supply Chain, Finance, and Technology to influence decisions and align sourcing strategies to business goals.
- Monitor supply market trends, benchmark best practices, and drive continuous improvement in supplier performance.
- Some travel may be required to collaborate with suppliers and operational teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent experience required (MBA or certifications like CPSM/CSCP/PMP preferred).
- 7–10 years of strategic sourcing or supply chain experience, ideally within 3PL management, distribution, or repair/refurbishment (Required).
- 7–10 years - Extensive experience managing Business Requirements, Project Plans, Project Schedules and associated project materials in a mid to large size company.
- Proven ability to manage complex supplier ecosystems (3PL/4PL, logistics, value-added services, reverse logistics).
- Strong negotiation, program management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- We’re the Un-carrier — bold, fast, and customer-obsessed. Our Supply Chain team is on a digitization journey to redefine agility, resilience, and customer experience. As a Sr. Sourcing Manager, you’ll have the influence and visibility to make real impact — driving supplier innovation, efficiency, and performance that bring our Un-carrier vision to life.
