Overview
The Competitive Pricing Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing competitive and market intelligence to support strategic decision-making across the revenue organization. This role provides clear, actionable insights on competitors’ products, positioning, go-to-market strategies, and market movements to help the company win more business and maintain a strong competitive position.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, curious, and comfortable turning complex information into concise insights for senior stakeholders
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
Competitive & Market Intelligence
- Research and monitor competitors’ products, features, positioning, messaging, partnerships, and market activity
- Track competitor announcements, product launches, acquisitions, and strategic shifts
- Maintain up-to-date competitor profiles and intelligence repositories
Sales & Revenue Enablement
- Support Sales and Revenue teams with competitive insights for deals, RFPs, and customer engagements
- Develop competitive battle cards, win/loss insights, and objection-handling materials
- Provide real-time intelligence in response to competitive threats or opportunities
Strategic Analysis
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics
- Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats across the competitive landscape
- Support strategic planning, product roadmaps, and go-to-market initiatives with competitive insight
Reporting & Communication
- Produce regular competitive intelligence reports and executive summaries
- Translate qualitative and quantitative data into clear recommendations
- Present findings to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Leadership to align competitive insights with business priorities
- Partner with Product teams to inform feature differentiation and roadmap decisions
- Support Marketing with competitive positioning and messaging

QualificationsRequired Qualifications -
- 3–7+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, market research, strategy, or business analysis
- Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into concise insights
- Advanced excel skills
- Knowledge of large project pricing
- Bachelor’s degree related to finance, business, data or analytics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience in technology, SaaS, infrastructure, or enterprise B2B environments
- Familiarity with CRM systems, market research tools, or BI platforms
- Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles or complex buying environments
- Background in consulting, strategy, or analytics
