RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct performance monitoring on a continuous basis, evolving the function by automating and optimizing processes to become proactive and forward-looking

Conduct forensic research and analysis on billing, payment and collections requests and issues in order to identify risks and opportunities and provide valuable information to internal and external stakeholders

Conduct in-depth analysis and prepare value-add presentations for clients offering insights into their performance and preparing recommendations

Evaluate comprehensive business intelligence to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and changes in payment industry practices

Provide insightful and actionable recommendations to support key decision-making processes

Produce reports and communications for key stakeholders across Product, Sales, Finance, Accounting, Customer Success, and Operations, ensuring transparency and alignment

Collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Operations and Finance to prioritize collection strategies and initiatives across a multi-quarter roadmap

Evaluating initiatives based on revenue potential, cost savings, performance impact and risk Owning complex problem solving and riving outcomes through influence

QUALIFICATIONS:

10+ years of experience in collections performance, operations, business analysis, strategy, or a related field within the payments industry

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to interpret complex data and turn insights into actionable strategies

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels

Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform strategic pricing

Advanced Microsoft Excel analysis and PowerPoint presentation skills

A proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new opportunities for business improvement.

Proven experience providing technical leadership

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on results.

Knowledge of the payments industry landscape, including card scheme fees, bank processing costs, emerging pricing trends, and technology.

Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in payment systems.

Commitment to excellence in work and a passion for driving business success through strategic analysis, data, and insights.

Dallas-based candidates are expected to work from the office one to two days per week Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only and based on employees in the United States and may be different in other countries. Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, and location, as well as market and business considerations. Our pay range for U.S. based candidates for this position is $125,000 - $130,000 USD annually.

Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses and commissions.
