Senior Product Leader

Job Summary

Our client, a leading Telecommunications provider, is seeking a Senior Product Leader to join their team. They will drive strategy and transformation across their Procurement domain. This role is not responsible for executing procurement activities (sourcing, negotiations, purchasing), but instead focuses on improving how procurement operates across systems, processes, data, and user experience. It is a product‑led transformation role, focused on delivering measurable business outcomes, capability maturity, and enterprise adoption—not traditional project management.

This is a 1‑year contract with the possibility of extension. Available locations:
Frisco, TX;
Bellevue, WA; or Overland Park, KS with expectation of 5‑days/week onsite.

• Own the procurement capability roadmap, identify workflow friction, and translate business needs into scalable product solutions.
• Define and own the Procurement product vision and roadmap (Source‑to‑Pay, Procure‑to‑Pay, supplier management).
• Align strategy with enterprise priorities, business value, and technology direction.
• Evaluate opportunities to modernize procurement capabilities.
• Map end‑to‑end procurement processes to identify inefficiencies and user pain points.
• Translate friction into prioritized product initiatives and requirements.
• Improve tools, data flows, and user experience across procurement ecosystems.
• Lead a portfolio of complex, high‑visibility transformation initiatives with multiple work streams.
• Drive process modernization, capability maturity, and operating model improvements.
• Balance near‑term delivery with long‑term strategic outcomes.

• 10+ years of relevant experience in product management, transformation, or business process optimization.
• Enough procurement expertise to diagnose gaps quickly and a strong product mindset to modernize tools, workflows, and end‑user experiences.
• Experience leading enterprise‑wide transformation initiatives.
• Deep familiarity with Procurement, Source‑to‑Pay (S2P), Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P), or supplier management environments.
• Demonstrated success delivering product‑led business outcomes (not just project delivery).
• High degree of business and technical fluency.

• Experience with procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle Fusion.
• Background in finance, supply chain, or operations.
• Experience in large‑scale digital or ERP transformations.

• Clear, business‑aligned procurement product roadmap.
• Measurable improvements in procurement efficiency and user experience.
• Increased adoption and standardization of procurement capabilities.
• Strong executive confidence and stakeholder alignment.
• Sustainable delivery of transformation outcomes and business value.

Location:

Frisco, TX;
Overland Park, KS; or Bellevue, WA. Onsite 5 days/week.

Pay Range:
Approx. $120,000 – $230,000 (based on experience, location, and qualifications). Compensation subject to variability. We comply with local wage minimums. Benefits include medical, dental & vision insurance plans, Employee‑Owned Profit Sharing (ESOP), 401(k).
