Operations Manager
Position Summary
As a Realty Project Coach, you will lead remodeling and new store projects across the United States as part of Walmart US's Realty Execution team. You own project delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget completion and top quality, collaborating with store team leads, supervising hourly associates, and resolving escalations.
What You'll Do- Own and schedule project execution in assigned stores, communicating plans, changes, and obstacles to stakeholders.
- Transform plans to minimize impact on store operations and keep projects on track.
- Motivate and develop local associate teams, listening to feedback, training, mentoring, and recognizing performance.
- Resolve store leadership, supplier, and associate concerns to promote teamwork.
- Influencing Others:
Motivate your team to meet timelines and deliverables on projects. - Project Ownership:
Own the execution of projects and deliver solutions with minimal disruption. - Develop Associates:
Provide supervision and development opportunities, build career paths.
Primarily overnight shifts (10-12 hours). Frequent travel of up to 1,000 miles from home, often away 80% of the time or 17-21 days at a time; travel reimbursed and overnight stays paid.
CompensationSalary range: $60,000 – $110,000 per year. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Stock options may be available.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and at least 1 year of experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area.
- OR 3 years of the same experience.
- Master’s degree in business or related field.
- At least 1 year’s experience leading cross‑functional teams.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Compliance with company policies, including the open‑door policy and ethics standards.
- Support business solutions by building relationships with key stakeholders and monitoring progress.
- Adapt to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
