About the Family & The Position:
At Hello Nanny!, we’re helping a busy family of four in Frisco, TX find a caring, reliable, and experienced Nanny to focus on after-school routines and childcare. The family holds high expectations for engagement, structure, and professionalism, and values a candidate who can support a home environment rooted in Christian principles.
The Nanny will manage school pick-up, homework, playtime, and extracurricular activities while fostering parent-child connection, especially given the parents’ busy, demanding careers with frequent travel. The household is additionally staffed with a House Manager who oversees primarily morning through mid-day operations, with a small overlap with the Nanny, making this a 30-hour-per-week afternoon-focused nanny role. The Nanny’s primary responsibility is to prioritize the children’s care, ensuring consistency in routines, learning, and development while promoting independence, kindness, and strong character.

- Oversee school pick-up, homework, after-school activities, and bedtime routines
- Maintain consistent structure, supervision, and safety for the children
- Encourage independence and age-appropriate responsibilities
- Build a loving, supportive relationship while setting clear boundaries
- Model and reinforce Christian values within the home and with the children
- Support children’s learning, development, and milestone tracking
- Keep children’s spaces and common areas clean, organized, and engaging
- Prepare snacks and meals for the children
- Provide attentive care during school breaks, holidays, and when children are home sick
- Proactively foster parent-child connection time, including coordinating Zoom calls and in-person bonding opportunities
- Communicate daily updates on activities, progress, and schedules to parents
- Collaborate with parents to align routines and ensure meaningful family time
- Follow household structures, written instructions, and communication from parents seamlessly
- Maintain developmentally appropriate play and learning spaces that are fun, safe, and educational
- Experienced and reliable childcare professional with a minimum of 3–5 years of recent childcare experience, including supporting school-aged children and a minimum of 1 year of experience in private homes
- Skilled at managing after-school routines, homework, play, and extracurricular activities with consistency and structure
- Warm, loving, and patient while maintaining clear boundaries and fostering a sense of respect and responsibility in children
- Able to reinforce and model Christian values, guiding children in kindness, character, and faith-based principles
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, comfortable following written instructions, household structures, and daily communication from parents
- Strong communicator, able to provide thoughtful updates on children’s activities, milestones, and development
- Flexible and dependable, able to adjust schedules for sick days, holidays, and summer breaks as needed
- Committed to fostering meaningful parent-child connection, coordinating bonding time during busy or travel-heavy schedules
