Lead Teacher for Infant

As a lead infant teacher, your role is crucial in shaping the early experiences of our youngest learners. Teachers will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a classroom environment that utilizes space, materials, routines, and guidance techniques to effectively facilitate physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children. Additionally, teachers will enrich the classroom with appropriate teacher‑made materials and exhibits of child artwork.

Teachers must also maintain a clean, sanitary, attractive and well‑organized classroom. Teachers are responsible to implement great care, cleanliness, curriculum, and good communication skills.

  • Create a safe, loving, and stimulating environment where infants can explore and make discoveries.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain hygiene practices diligently.
  • Manage and care for a class of infants.
  • Foster their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
  • Providing love and quality care for the children throughout the day in order to meet their emotional and physical needs
  • Planning and executing indoor and outdoor experiences appropriate to the developmental levels of the children
  • Interacting with children both physically and verbally throughout the day
  • Assisting children with their personal hygiene, change diapers, assist with potty training when necessary
  • Serve and eat meals with the children
  • Meet with parents, staff, and administration
  • Attend in‑service and staff development training programs
  • Familiarity with state licensing requirements and policies
Qualifications

Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields.
Passionate about working with children.
Ability to build rapport with children.
Positive and patient demeanor.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
High School Diploma/Equivalent.
CPR/First Aid (can be fulfilled upon hire).
Background Check and Fingerprints (can be fulfilled upon hire).
Be physically able to keep up with our active Infant/Toddler/Preschooler.
Be able to Lift up our Infant/Toddler/Preschooler, run, and sit on the floor comfortably.
