Position Overview

We’re looking for an Editor to support the Dude Perfect’s post‑production team. This role will be responsible for assembling, refining, and delivering high‑quality edits that capture the energy, adventure, and personality of the channel and the Dude Perfect brand. This is a hands‑on role for someone who thrives in fast‑paced You Tube production environments. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing full edits independently, from ingest and organization through final delivery.

They understand You Tube pacing, unscripted storytelling, and competition‑style formats, and can craft compelling and engaging narratives. The Editor will collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Producers, and the Production Manager to ensure every video meets the highest standard of quality and performance. The Editor will report directly to the Lead Editor.

• Edit compelling sports, spectacle, and outdoor content from first assembly through final delivery.
• Shape pacing, tone, and structure to maximize engagement and retention.
• Maintain clarity and storytelling continuity across multi‑camera and competition‑style formats.
• Partner closely with Creative Directors and Producers to translate concepts into compelling edits.
• Incorporate feedback efficiently while meeting delivery timelines.
• Communicate proactively about post‑production needs and project statuses.
• Manage project organization, media ingestion, and file structure.
• Maintain adherence to post‑production workflows, asset management standards, and style guidelines.
• Ensure final deliverables meet technical specifications and platform requirements.
• Uphold consistent editorial quality aligned with the Dude Perfect brand and standards.
• All other duties as assigned.

• 3‑5+ years of professional editing experience in digital media, sports, entertainment, or high‑concept You Tube‑first content.
• Proven ability to independently manage full edits from ingest through final delivery.
• Strong understanding of long‑form You Tube pacing, retention mechanics, and audience engagement.
• Experience editing unscripted, competition‑based content strongly preferred.
• Comfort working with multi‑camera productions.
• Advanced proficiency in industry‑standard editing software.
• Strong communication skills and ability to give and receive feedback.
• Experience working within fast‑paced, high‑output content teams.
