Initiate automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests; verify warranty coverage; develop estimates and write repair orders; maintain customer records;
Serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensure customer needs are understood by the technician and the customer understands the service recommendations;
Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculate customer payments including deductibles;
Prepare repair orders, obtain signatures, and enter RO into service database system;
Keep the customer informed of service specials, completion times and service expenses
