Position: Live-Event Cashier: Fast, Friendly Service
Position Summary The Cashier is responsible for providing fast, friendly, and accurate service to guests in a high-volume sports and entertainment environment. This role handles transactions, processes orders, and ensures a positive guest experience during games, concerts, and events. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting and delivers exceptional customer service while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Guest Service Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.

Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.

Provide excellent customer service and resolve basic guest concerns.

Maintain a positive, high-energy attitude during busy events.

POS Operations Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions.

Accept credit and cashless payments accurately.

Follow all the company's payment processing procedures.

Order Accuracy & Efficiency Accurately input orders and communicate with the kitchen or service staff.

Maintain speed of service during peak periods (halftime, intermissions, etc.).Ensure all items are properly rung up and delivered to guests correctly.

Cleanliness & Compliance Maintain a clean and organized workstation.

Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Comply with all company policies, including alcohol service regulations if applicable.

Team Support Work collaboratively with cooks, runners, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

Assist with restocking and setup/breakdown as needed.

Support overall stand operations during high-volume events.

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous cashier, retail, or food service experience preferred.

Experience in sports venues, stadiums, or high-volume hospitality environments is a plus.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Basic math skills and the ability to handle transactions accurately.

Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods during events.

Ability to work in a loud, fast-paced environment.

Ability to lift up to 25–30 pounds.

Schedule Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and event days.

Must be available for games, concerts, and large-scale events.
