Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Board Certified Physician with extensive Urgent Care experience to join our dynamic healthcare team. This vital role involves providing prompt, high-quality medical care to patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries in a fast-paced environment. - Deliver comprehensive urgent care services, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute medical conditions across diverse patient populations.
- Perform detailed physical examinations, interpret diagnostic tests such as medical imaging (including CT scans), and utilize EMR systems effectively for documentation.
- Manage patient triage, assess severity of conditions, and determine appropriate levels of care or referral when necessary.
- Conduct procedures such as suturing, wound care, airway management, and basic life support to stabilize patients promptly.
- Collaborate with specialists in fields such as cardiology, neurology, psychiatry, endocrinology, and radiology for complex cases requiring interdisciplinary input.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold the highest standards of infection control and patient safety.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives or quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing patient care delivery.
- Board Certification in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or relevant specialty from an accredited medical board.
- Valid medical license to practice in the designated state or region.
- Proven experience working in urgent care settings or emergency departments with Level I or Level II trauma center exposure preferred.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or similar platforms; familiarity with medical imaging interpretation is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and clinical evaluation techniques.
- Should be comfortable to see all ages
- Demonstrated ability to perform procedures including suturing, IV infusion, I&D, Foreign Body removal, splinting, and basic trauma interventions.
- Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations including pediatric and geriatric patients.
- Critical care experience or familiarity with inpatient hospital medicine is advantageous; additional skills in telehealth are a plus.
