Valid Texas Secondary Teacher Certification at the appropriate level

Experience
:
Three or more years of classroom experience preferred
Campus leadership experience preferred
Experience facilitating professional learning preferred
Work under the direction of Teaching and Learning and the campus principal by supporting, communicating, and modeling district priorities.
Collaborate regularly with campus and district leaders, content coordinators, and other instructional coaches to monitor impact on student performance.
Strengthen the quality of instructional foundations and alignment to standards, curriculum, and district priorities through job-embedded professional learning, data-talks, coaching cycles, and learning walks.
Build teachers’ capacity to use the Frisco ISD curriculum in the Understanding by Design (UbD) backwards planning process by responding to the four Professional Learning Community (PLC) questions.
Provide coaching and training that improves instruction and student learning.
Lead and facilitate ongoing, job-embedded professional learning at the campus and district level.
Support teachers in building instructional skills and implementing strategies from professional learning in classrooms through ongoing interaction, reflection, and continuous improvement.
Partner with teachers to engage in coaching cycles that analyze data to assess current instructional practices, establish goals, identify and explain effective teaching strategies, and provide ongoing support until goals are achieved.
Foster trusting relationships and a positive, collaborative culture within and across departments, including Content Leads, Digital Learning, Library Services, Special Education, and English as a Second Language (ESL).
Maintain high standards of ethics and confidentiality regarding student and staff information.
Engage in ongoing professional learning, district instructional coach meetings, and curriculum meetings to continue growing.
Partner with campus leadership and stakeholders to gather and review data to evaluate programs (MTSS, Math and Reading lab, EOC/STAAR retesters, etc.)
Bridge communication between teachers, campus, content lead, and the Teaching and Learning Department.
Actively participating in Campus Support Meetings to foster the relationship among IC, coordinator, and administrator.
Partner with the Content Team Leads (CTL) to disseminate information and identify needs for professional learning and content-specific knowledge and skills.
Contribute to the campus improvement goals and action plans based on classroom and district assessment data.
Collaborate with campus leadership and CTL to support staffing and hiring efforts and master schedule, including participating in interviews when appropriate.
