The Muraqaba School is a God-centered educational community committed to nurturing spiritually grounded, emotionally resilient, and intellectually courageous young Muslims through the revival of Prophetic Tarbiyah and Islamic pedagogy. We strive to graduate students who are confident, God-conscious, and prepared to serve their communities with excellence.

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Elementary Homeroom Teacher who serves as a Murabbi — a mentor and guide who cultivates the hearts and minds of students. The ideal candidate will deliver a rigorous academic curriculum while seamlessly integrating spiritual mindfulness and Prophetic character (adab) into all subjects, including Math, Science, and ELAR.

• Holistic Instruction: Deliver high-quality instruction in core subjects (ELAR, Math, Science, and Social Studies) rooted in an Islamic worldview.
• Spiritual Integration: Weave themes of Tawhid and God-consciousness into academic lessons, helping students see the signs of Allah (swt) in the world around them.
• Character Development: Implement behavior strategies based on Prophetic guidance, fostering self-regulation, accountability, and kindness.
• Collaborative Planning: Work closely with the Qur’anic Arabic and Islamic Studies faculty to ensure curriculum alignment with the school vision.
• Student Growth: Assess academic and spiritual progress, providing consistent feedback to parents and maintaining a nurturing classroom environment.
• Community Contribution: Participate in school events, spiritual retreats, and professional development focused on Islamic pedagogy and Muraqaba principles.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Elementary Studies, or a related field.
• Experience: Prior experience in an elementary classroom setting;
  Islamic school experience is a plus.
• Spirituality: Strong understanding of Islamic worldview, adab of teaching, and student tarbiyah.
• Skills: Proficiency in classroom management, differentiated instruction, and educational technology.
• Passion: A deep love for working with youth and a commitment to cultivating their best selves.
