We are seeking Instructional Support Specialists who are passionate about STEM education and inclusive learning to assist in teaching during camps, workshops, and after‑school programs. This role combines student support, tutoring, and instructional assistance with hands‑on STEM activities such as coding, robotics, engineering projects, and science experiments. Ideal candidates will have experience with FIRST LEGO League (FLL), FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), or similar robotics competitions, and hands‑on project experience in chemistry and biology is highly desirable.

- Assist in delivering coding, robotics, and engineering workshops for K–8 students.
- Support hands‑on projects in chemistry, biology, and applied science during camps and classroom sessions.
- Help students with robotics programming, mechanical design, and troubleshooting during competitions and projects.
- Provide individualized and small‑group instruction in core subjects and STEM activities.
- Assist students with academic tasks, social skills development, and classroom participation.
- Support students with IEPs or 504 plans using adaptive strategies and positive reinforcement.
- Collaborate with lead teachers to prepare and deliver lessons.
- Support teachers in developing lesson concepts and detailed lesson plans for camps, workshops, and classroom sessions.
- Adapt materials and resources to meet diverse learning needs.
- Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, and breaks.
- Offer targeted tutoring in literacy, math, and STEM subjects to K–12 students.
- Use evidence‑based strategies to reinforce concepts and improve student performance.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist with classroom organization, inventory management, and activity setup.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and administrators to support student success.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers as directed by lead teachers.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development sessions.
- High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in education, STEM, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience working with children in educational or STEM settings.
- Hands‑on experience with robotics platforms (LEGO EV3, SPIKE Prime, VEX, etc.) and coding languages (Scratch, Python, or similar).
- Familiarity with FLL, FTC, or other robotics competitions is highly desirable.
- Experience with chemistry and biology projects is a strong plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
