BBX Teachers are our highest instructional tier. You'll independently lead academic and STEM programs with full ownership of the student experience — from instruction design to family communication. You bring proven experience with diverse learners, including neurodiverse students and those with IEPs and 504 plans, and you know how to build applied learning experiences that produce real outcomes.
No lead teacher. No hand-holding. You run your room backed by a strong team.
What You'll Do- Independently lead STEM and academic programs for K–12 students
- Design and deliver applied learning experiences tailored to individual student needs
- Implement and manage IEP and 504 plan accommodations with fidelity
- Identify student learning modalities and adapt instruction accordingly
Provide targeted instruction for neurodiverse learners - Contribute to lesson planning and curriculum development
- Communicate proactively with parents and caregivers on student progress
- Support and mentor Instructors as needed
- Attend team meetings and professional development sessions
- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM, or related field required
- State teaching certification and/or ISD classroom experience required
- Understanding of Neurodiversity learning needs and support
- Demonstrated experience teaching neurodiverse students
- Working knowledge of IEP and 504 plan implementation
- Ability to identify and apply learning modalities in instruction
- Proven track record delivering effective applied learning experiences
- Strong communicator with students, parents, and team members
- Familiarity with FLL, FTC, or STEM competitions is a strong plus
