As full‑time Front Desk Lead at our AoPS Frisco location, you will play a key role in helping your campus grow and flourish. In this role you will support our Front Desk Associates, answer phone calls and emails, warmly welcome both current and prospective students and their families, and act as the friendly face of AoPS Academy while classes are in session.
Additionally, you will support campus operations by taking inventory, tidying the facility, and assisting the full‑time staff with other campus procedures to ensure smooth operations.
- Serve as an intermediary between the Front Desk Associates and the full‑time campus team, supporting campus operations and ensuring the front desk team is set up for success
- Mentor, train, and support Front Desk Associates, serving as a first point of contact for questions and day‑to‑day guidance
- Assist with reach‑out and in‑reach events, coordinating front desk involvement and presence
- Serve as campus receptionist: answer the phone, respond to voicemails, and pass on relevant information to the appropriate staff member
- Warmly welcome both current and prospective students and their families
- Manage and respond to customer inquiries by phone and email
- Maintain multiple calendars, schedule meetings, and ensure everything is up‑to‑date
- Use the internal database to generate reports and lists, and perform data entry tasks
- Provide admissions assistance as needed with consultation requests, scheduling, and post‑consultation follow‑ups
- Organize and prepare classroom and office supplies
- Take inventory to support campus operations
- Supervise students between classes
- Perform light cleaning duties and tidy the facility
- Assume responsibility for the organization, operation, and appearance of the lobby and front desk area
- Assist full‑time staff with other campus procedures to ensure smooth operations
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Deep understanding of AoPS Academy operations and culture
- Commitment to supporting enrollment goals
- Experience confidently interacting with customers; experience with families and students (elementary through high school) preferred
- Strong organizational and computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, and English usage
- Ability to establish and maintain positive, effective working relationships with students, parents, staff, and the general public
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Flexibility to solve problems under pressure
- Administrative and/or customer service experience
- Proficiency with Google Workspace applications (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc.)
- Motivation to learn new technologies
- Maintains customer confidentiality
- Excitement about our mission of motivating high‑performing students
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
This is an in‑person, full‑time position at our Frisco campus. The year‑round program includes a mix of daytime, evening, and weekend hours. Flexibility across all three is required.
