Do you bring out the star in your students? At Taylor Robinson Music, we believe that learning to play from the heart makes a better, happier world. We are seeking private music instructors who share our philosophy and can teach multiple instruments.

We do not have a brick-and-mortar studio in the Frisco area; instead we match students with local instructors who can teach in the students’ homes, at their own home or studio, or via webcam. While webcam lessons are a small portion of our volume, most students prefer in‑person instruction.

You will be paid as an independent contractor, with hourly rates ranging from $20 to $30—adjusted for travel, experience, education, and student retention. This arrangement gives you the freedom to set your own schedule, curriculum, and lesson plans. We handle advertising, marketing, SEO, and billing to help you focus on teaching.

We require:

• Formal music training is not mandatory, but you must hold a degree in music, be enrolled in a music program, have professional performing experience, or have prior teaching experience.
• Excellent communication with our office and punctuality for all lessons.
• Ability to work with kids and maintain an organized, professional approach.

Health and Safety:

• Most students attend lessons in person. You must wear a mask, sanitize your hands, and practice social distancing when applicable.

While webcam lessons are available, the majority of students prefer in‑person lessons. The instructor must follow mask and hygiene protocols as described above.
