POSITION PURPOSE STATEMENT
The mission of Elevate Life Preschool is to provide the atmosphere and the experience necessary for children to grow spiritually, mentally, emotionally, socially, and physically so they can become the leaders God destined them to be. The vision of Elevate Life Preschool is to foster a lifelong love of learning in each of our students. We create this environment by providing positive learning experiences through love, respect, quality education and professionalism.
Team members demonstrate a passion for teaching children, love for learning, and love for Jesus that fosters a solid, Bible-based foundation. Team members also engage children as individuals in a way that allows them to maximize their individual abilities.
- Classroom
- Assists Lead Teacher in all functions and processes of the classroom.
- Acts as Lead Teacher when Lead Teacher is absent.
- Demonstrates a passion for teaching children, love for learning, and love for Jesus that fosters a solid, Bible-based foundation
- Administrative
- Plan additional activities, as necessary.
- Assist Lead Teacher when conducting yearly formal parent/teacher conferences
- Assist Lead Teacher with assessing students for fall and spring assessments and maintain student portfolios.
- Training and Personal Development
- Attend staff devotional meetings
- Attend staff curriculum meetings
- Attend all pre-service training or any other trainings, as necessary
- Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and heart of a servant leader;
Reflects the mission, vision, and core values of Elevate Life Church at all times;
Maintains a spirit of excellence in all areas of life. - Personal learning and development:
He or she are personally committed to and actively works to continuously improve himself or herself; recognizes the need to change behaviors; actively seeks feedback. - Time Management:
Uses his or her time effectively and efficiently; concentrates his or her efforts on the most important priorities; adeptly handles several tasks at once. - Planning and Organization:
Accurately determines the length and difficulty of tasks and projects; establishes priorities for self and others, assists with developing schedules and assignments. - Good communication, problem solving, and priority setting skills as well as maintain an overall positive and professional attitude.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent,
- Previous Early Childhood Education experience in a licensed preschool or childcare setting preferred,
- Must be proficient in understanding and following Texas Minimum Standards for Child-Care Centers,
- Must pass a pre-employment criminal history and fingerprint background check.
