Special Education Teacher – Middle School Inclusion

• Provide a supportive and inclusive environment that empowers each student to achieve their potential.
• Participate in the Admission, Review and Dismissal (ARD) process to collaborate with students, parents, campus, and District staff to develop appropriately challenging Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement through formal and informal testing.
• Support special education students in all school settings as needed.

• Valid Texas teaching certificate in Special Education
• Knowledge of academic subject(s) assigned
• Demonstrated proficiency in creation, implementation, and progress monitoring of specially designed instruction

Demonstrates expertise in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) while fostering an inclusive environment that supports the academic growth of special education students. Proficient in conducting assessments and monitoring progress to ensure effective specially designed instruction.
