Job Description & How to Apply Below

At STC Safety & Risk Management, we exist to help end workplace serious injuries and fatalities — not just check boxes. We’re a fast-growing safety and risk management company serving high-risk industries like construction & manufacturing.

We believe training should do more than meet a requirement. It should equip people, support safer workplaces, and help clients protect their people, their brand, and their profit.

We’re hiring a Training Specialist — a highly organized, service-oriented, growth-minded professional who can support our growing Training team through training coordination, LMS administration, e-learning support, and training delivery. This role is for someone who loves details, enjoys working with people, and is excited to grow in technology, digital learning, and facilitation.

What You’ll Do:
  • Coordinate training programs from scheduling through completion, including calendars, classroom logistics, materials, and instructor coordination.
  • Prepare classrooms and training materials for in-person and virtual training sessions.
  • Serve as a point of contact for trainees, instructors, and client representatives.
  • Coordinate open enrollment, managed client, and customized training sessions.
  • Support LMS administration including course creation, enrollment, training records, certificates, reports, and learner support.
  • Maintain accurate attendance, documentation, training records, and completion reports.
  • Work alongside our Instructional Designer to develop and maintain e-learning courses and digital training resources.
  • Learn STC’s e-learning tools, templates, standards, and development process.
  • Assist with converting instructor-led training into digital learning experiences.
  • Support course updates, testing, quality assurance, publishing, and LMS deployment.
  • Develop the knowledge and facilitation skills needed to deliver designated STC Training Center courses.
  • Obtain First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification within six months of hire.
What You Bring:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in training coordination, administrative support, scheduling, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with an LMS strongly preferred.
  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to support learners, clients, and instructors professionally.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Interest in e-learning development, digital training, and facilitation.
  • Ability and willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification within six months of hire.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
Bonus Points For:
  • Experience supporting safety or compliance training.
  • Familiarity with OSHA-related training requirements and documentation.
  • Experience with online course development or Learning Management Systems.
  • Previous facilitation, training, teaching, or public speaking experience.
Who Will Thrive Here?

You’ll thrive here if you are organized, dependable, service-minded, and growth minded.

You enjoy making sure the details are handled, the room is ready, the systems are updated, the learner experience is smooth, and the team has what they need to deliver excellent training.

You don’t need to know everything on day one, but you do need to be coachable, proactive, comfortable with technology, and willing to jump in wherever needed.

At STC, we live by our Core Values:
  • Passionately Help Others Win
  • Be Genuinely Authentic
  • Earn a Seat at the Table
  • Enjoy the Journey
What You’ll Get:
  • Medical, dental, and vision plans
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Educational expense reimbursement
  • Opportunity to grow in training, facilitation, LMS administration, and e-learning development
  • A high-performing team that cares deeply about the mission and each other

This role is primarily performed in an office and training center environment. Occasional lifting of training materials and supplies up to 25 pounds may be required. Occasional travel may be needed for offsite training support.

This role may require some flexibility, including the occasional early morning or evening based on training schedules and client needs.
